It's been 30 years now, since that the Norwegian band formed in 1982 - A-ha, released their exceptionally popular track Take on Me. This hit song, remained as one of the most popular songs of the '80s.

The band will temporarily reunite to release their first new material after six years, as they did in 2006 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the song. Then, they bounced back with a new record, the Analogue.

The band parted ways after a worldwide tour in 2010. Each of the band members, vocalist Morten Harket, keyboardist Magne Furuholmen and guitarist Paul Waaktaar-Savoy, deciding to pursue his own interest.

They are getting back together for a two-year reunion to work on new tracks. The band's 10th studio album, Cast In Steel, will be out in record bars on September 4. A European tour for the group is slated next year.

For this month, A-ha will be playing at the Rock in Rio Music Festival.

In an interview with A-ha's frontman - Morten Harket, the singer stated, "It's incredible how quickly you fall back into where you left off," Harket also said, "One of the good things about being away is to digest things and maybe learn from things and see if there are better ways to get to where you want to be."

Morten Harket said that a lot of things have changed from the time they started out to the present, specially with regards to getting the attention of the social media."I have always been a recluse really and to bring me out in the open like that is not easy,"he remarked.

And when Morten Harket was asked about the continued popularity of Take On Me, Harket stated, "For us you have to make peace with that song because it's stronger than you in a way. It's not going away," "We played it to death ... but the public doesn't get sick of it somehow."
