One Direction Hiatus: Band Members 'Can't Wait' To Take A Break Because They Are 'Fed Up' With Each Other

Sad news for One Direction fans as one insider claims Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson are reportedly "fed up with each other", hence announcing their band hiatus.

Hollywood Life reports the remaining members of the phenomenal boy band "can't wait" to take a break, which apparently meant taking a break from each other too.

After the exit of Zayne Malik last March, One Direction has announced their hiatus in March 2016. Liam, Louis and Niall, however, assured fans they are just about to take a break from their extremely busy schedules and will be back recording new songs before they even know it.

But according to a source who talked to UK's Closer magazine, this break might possibly lead to a real break up, since "no one in One Direction camp is surprised by the break," which has "been a long time coming."

"They've been in each other's pockets for five years and are fed up with each other," the source told Hollywood Life. "They no longer travel together and sit in their own dressing rooms until they're called on stage. They all cannot wait for the break and, at this rate, no one can see how they'll return from this."

Now this is a bit shocking considering the success Drag Me Down, the band's first single since Zayne left the group.

"Harry and Niall took over most of Zayn's vocals because they had similar vocal ranges," the source added. "They said it was more work. There's also a big divide between Harry and Niall - who love to go out - and Liam and Louis, who are more settled in their lives now. Things between them all have got frosty since Zayn left."

When asked about plans regarding a band reunion in the near future, One Direction's manager and mentor, Simon Cowell admits the band members aren't forced to get back to work ASAP, too. "I hope so," he said. "But like I said, it's not going to be because of any pressure from me."
