Andy Grammer Joins 'Dancing With The Stars'

Singer-songwriter and record producer, Andy Grammer, who has been rumored to be joining the upcoming season of 'Dancing with the Stars', confirmed the news via Twitter and said that the "rumors are true", according to reports.

The news was revealed through the 'Dancing with the Stars' official Twitter account on Monday, August 31.

Adding to the site announcement, Grammer said "What's up guys, Andy Grammer here. The rumors are true, I'm doing Dancing With the Stars. Check me out on Sept. 14."

During the same day that the announcement was made through Twitter, the 31-year old 'Honey I'm Good' singer has also openly talked about joining the show during his on air one-on-one interview with Ryan Seacrest.

Grammer has also openly talked about how excited he is to become part of the big dancing competition.

"I've had one meeting so far with my partner, who apparently got hurt, which is a super bummer," he told Seacrest.

He went on saying, "So I have to get another partner, which is terrible. I really liked her! Her name is Peta Murgatroyd. I can kind of move and be on beat, but I was telling her, everything she wanted me to do was like Gaston from Beauty and the Beast."

Reports say that the cast announcements for the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars have been made just last week, which included the Backstreet Boys dancer, Nick Carter and legendary singer, Chaka Khan.

The complete list of stars, who will all be joining the dancing competition has just been announced. Paula Deen, Bindi Irwin, Victor Espinosa, Hayes Grier, Carlos Pena Jr. and Alexa Vega are the remaining celebrity contenders whose names have been revealed on Good Morning America.

Andy Grammer on the other hand, will be heading to his upcoming show this September 6, Sunday, which will be held at Columbus, OH, USA.
