James Earl Jones' death hoax is the most recent in celebrity death hoaxes. The 84-year-old star was reported dead by a parody website last week, possibly prompting the actor to create his own Twitter account in order to let it be known that he is still alive.
As CNN reported, the actor created a Twitter account for the first time. However, there is no tweet from the actor yet.

The James Earl Jones death hoax report last week came from the website FeedNewz, which is notorious for reporting fake stories on the internet according to The Inquisitr. The hoax report stated that the "Star Wars" actor died in his hometown of Arkabutla, Mississippi.
While the "report" would lead users who clicked it to a message saying "You Got Owned," others didn't bother to click and just simply passed on the message. Because of this, many believed that James Earl Jones had actually died, and many even shared their condolences via Twitter and Facebook.

There have been a lot of celebrity death hoaxes in the past, but it appears this James Earl Jones death hoax has been the most widespread, with thousands sharing the false news and major news outlets like CNN clearing the air and saying that he is still up and kicking.
In fact, James Earl Jones will reportedly be part of a sequel for the "Lion King." He is also set to star in the Broadway production of "The Gin Game," alongside Cicely Tyson.
Other recent theater credits of the "Star Wars" actor include "The Best Man," "Much Ado About Nothing" and "Driving Miss Daisy."
As for the victims of the James Earl Jones death hoax, they were not too pleased.

The past week also saw the death hoax report of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who supposedly died of a heart attack, according to UPI.
Like the James Earl Jones death hoax, this report came from a fake news site called MSMBC.co, close to the name of the news site, MSNBC. Arnold, for his part, has remained quiet on the news.
