The lead singer of Hole, Courtney Love said that she is ''so sad'' that her husband Kurt Cobain missed their daughter's(Frances Bean) growing up years. Frances is now 22 years old and is clueless as to the untimely death of her father.

The lead singer and guitarist of Nirvana, Kurt Cobain intentionally caused his own death when Frances Bean was only 2 years old.

The film entitled Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck, premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in April. It featured the late Cobain in home footage, journals and recordings that were never shown to the public before. This brought a surge of conflicting emotions on Love which she talks about openly.

"Mostly I get really sad. There's guilt, about what I could have done," she said back then."I told myself I wouldn't see it again, but I did. Self-punishment I guess."

Love watched the film several times.

On one occasion,Courtney Love also wrote an emotional message to her husband, Kurt Cobain, ''Makes me feel so sad. Our baby is all grown up now. Jesus, Kurt, look at her face, what on earth were you thinking...!?!? God I miss you, we all miss you. #family #memories #turnbacktime #lovehim (sic)"

This documentary made use of materials that was in Cobain's personal archives and seeks an in-depth examination of his childhood, music career and untimely death. Brett Morgen directed the film.

During the premier of the film, Frances Bean stated, "It touches on some dark subjects but at the end of the day, I think that the film provides fans of Nirvana and not fans of Nirvana a basic understanding of who Kurt was as a human being and I think that's been lost within the romanticism and the myth of him and his story,"

Frances Bean also said, "What this movie will provide, hopefully, is a real understanding of who he was and I think he'd be really proud to have this movie made about him, so I'd like to thank Brett [Morgan, director] a lot."
