Teen Saves Woman’s Life By Buying Donuts for Kidnapper [VIDEO]

Candian teenager Malyk Bonnet may have just restored your faith in humanity. The young boy has currently been making headlines as a hero.

According to Complex, the 17-year-old restaurant cook saw a couple in the middle of a heated argument near the bus stop, on his way home from work on August 1st.

As the man continued to scream at the woman, Malyk Bonnet decided to go up to the couple, in the hopes of preventing what could have been a physical fight between the two.

"The guy was screaming at her, the girl. He wasn't really gentle with her, and I started watching, because I thought he would hit her. So I approached them a little bit," Bonnet recalled.

The couple then asked him for money to pay for their bus fare going to Laval. Bonnet then agreed to give them the money, after getting some change at a nearby convenience store.

Sensing the terrified nature of the woman, Malyk Bonnet proceeded to create a plan on his own: "My plan was to keep them in a public place, where there's a lot of people," Bonnet told CBC Canada.

Bonnet told the couple he lived in Laval as well, and would keep the couple company on the way there, although he actually lives in Montreal.

"I decided to make myself friendly with the man, so he would trust me. So I played my game," Bonnet continued. Little did Bonnet know that the police were already searching for the couple.

Malyk Bonnet brought the pair to Tim Horton's once they got to Laval, and even gave them $50 to spend on food - and donuts!

He then called the police after excusing himself to go to the restroom. Apparently, the woman was kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend, the man, just the day before.

The man was arrested and has appeared in court for charges on kidnapping, forcible confinement, and assault. Meanwhile, Malyk Bonnet was featured on the local newspaper, and a $255 reward from the Laval police.
