Katy Perry Writing New Taylor Swift Diss Song with Diplo Called ‘Crocodile Tears’ as Revenge For 'Bad Blood'

Katy Perry reportedly enlisted the help of her DJ pal Diplo to create an epic new track called 'Crocodile Tears,' that sheds light on her side of the story in her nasty feud with Taylor Swift.

The 30-year-old singer is said to be in the recording studio working on the ultimate revenge anthem after Taylor released 'Bad Blood' last year, which is said to be all about her rift with Katy Perry.

Katy and Diplo recorded the song together over their 'joint hatred' of Taylor, according to The Sun.

“Katy knew Diplo would be just the man to produce 'Crocodile Tears' for her and has now registered it,” a source told the outlet. “So far she’s been very restrained with what she’s said about Taylor in public but is now ready to put her side across via the song, which is all about being fake.”

Their notorious feud erupted after Taylor gave an interview to Rolling Stone magazine last year in which she discussed her inspiration for 1989 album track 'Bad Blood.'

The 25-year-old hitmaker explained it’s about her frustration at a fellow female singer who allegedly stole her backing dancers for her 1989 world tour from under her nose. And while Katy might not be mentioned in name, Taylor’s never come out and denied it is her.

"Katy’s tentatively titled Crocodile Tears is a direct reply to Taylor’s claims that she tried to sabotage Taylor’s tour by hiring her backing dancers," a source told HollywoodLife.

"Katy felt Taylor was trying to make her look bad by saying such things, and paint her as the villain," the source added.

The release date for Katy’s track is as yet unknown. “It isn’t yet known whether it would be released as a one-off or as part of Katy’s fourth album, but she is keen for fans to hear it,” the source also told The Sun.
