Mark Sheppard's Crowley first appeared in the Season Five episode 'Abandon All Hope...' where it was revealed that he had been the one who ordered Bela to take the Colt from the Winchesters. Crowley ultimately tried to help Dean and Sam defeat Lucifer, because he feared that the King of Hell would slaughter all demons after killing mankind. Crowley has been a recurring character in 'Supernatural' since then, and Mark Sheppard was promoted to series regular in Season 10.

But will he return in the eleventh season? Mark Sheppard has attended the San Diego Comic-Con with Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins, but insists that Crowley has been killed by a spellbound Castiel in the season finale. "I'm dead,'" he told TVOverMind, saying that he is simply attending SDCC "as a fan."

Is Crowley really dead, or will he come back in Season 11? Find out when 'Supernatural' returns to the CW on October 7, 2015.
