Mega-chain Subway is reportedly testing a new topping called “Creamy Sriracha Sauce” at select locations in California.
The sauce was recently spotted in several locations in Santa Ana, California by the food blog Foodbeast. Subway plans to let Santa Ana customers try the legendary Thai hot sauce for a limited time.
Foodbeast crew said, “Creamy Sriracha sauce took on a more subdued color from the original’s bright red, it had a mayo-like consistency and was less sweet and much more spicy.”
There is no official word from Subway yet on whether this sauce will be available at every location or not.
