'Mallrats' Director Kevin Smith Wants UFC Champion Ronda Rousey To Play 'Captain Marvel!'

Carol Danvers could be played by one of the biggest stars in the world of UFC, and 'Mallrats' director Kevin Smith is definitely looking forward to seeing Ronda Rousey play 'Captain Marvel.'

TMZ tracked down the 'Yoga Hosers' director and asked Kevin Smith is the UFC champion should play Carol Danvers in the upcoming 'Captain Marvel' film.

"See her in that picture? Come on! You don't even need to think at this point," Smith said. "There's an image; we can see it. She looks amazing. Lord knows she's one of the only people who would play a superhero that could actually beat the sh-t out of somebody."

The reporter agreed with Kevin Smith, who continued by saying that he was looking forward to seeing Ronda Rousey do exactly what she's good at.

"I would like to see it happen," Smith admitted. "She seems like she's got a good head on her shoulders. She followed her dream and, holy sh-t, she's an ass-kicker. If that doesn't sound like a superhero, I don't know what is."

The undefeated UFC champion had previously admitted in a Reddit AMA that she would like to portray Miss Marvel in a film. The response was immediately accepted by fans who speculated that Rousey meant she wanted to play Captain Marvel in the upcoming movie.

As a result, there were several fan-made images of Ronda Rousey as Captain Marvel, the same pictures that Kevin Smith referred to in the TMZ exchange.
