Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans is in jail once again. The 23-year-old was arrested on Thursday for reportedly throwing a glass the her ex-fiance's girlfriend.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ, Nathan Griffith showed up at Jenelle’s house to obtain his belongings, following their breakup. But he brought his new girlfriend with him, which reportedly didn’t sit well with the reality star.
Jenelle allegedly ran out of the house and threw a glass at Nathan’s new girlfriend, “striking her in the head,” the report claims.
Police were called and Jenelle Evans was arrested for third-degree assault, and brought to the local jailhouse.
The website reported that Jenelle's representative said she felt her baby daddy was purposely provoking her by bringing over his girlfriend.
"This whole situation was a setup," Johnny Donovan, a rep for Evans, told The Daily News. "Jenelle is a positive, focused mother. All she wants is the best for her son and to feel safe around her family and friends."
"This was provoked to make her look bad by bringing his new girlfriend to (Janelle's) house," he adds.
This is at least the 15th time Jenelle has been arrested, most being on drug related charges.
Nathan meanwhile was previously arrested for domestic violence, DUI, driving on the wrong side of the road, resisting arrest, and driving with a suspended license.
Jenelle and Nathan, who are parents to son Kaiser, recently called off their engagement — he proposed while they were vacationing in the Virgin Islands in January 2015.
Jenelle also has a son from her previous relationship with Andrew Lewis, Jace, who turns six this month. She is currently locked in a custody battle for him with her mother, who cares for him.
Nathan also has a child from a previous relationship, a daughter named Emery.
Jenelle seemed to be on the straight and narrow when she finally graduated from high school last month.
She had been due to go into her final year seven years ago when teenage pregnancy derailed her plans, as documented in the MTV show.
