Spider-Man ‘Civil War’: Germany Set Leaks, Is Tom Holland’s Peter Parker Siding With Captain America Or Iron Man? [SPOILERS]

After it was revealed that Sony Pictures and Marvel had finally made a deal to add everyone's favorite arachnid-themed superhero to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the third installment of the "Captain America" movies became one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2016, as if it wasn't high up there already; and now, there may be new information about Spider-Man's "Civil War" siding.

In the original comic book series the film is loosely based on, Spider-Man's "Civil War" side goes with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr. in the MCU), as he reveals his secret identity after years of fighting the bad guys - and it seems the film version might be following a similar path.

As Marvel only just regained film rights to the character, Peter Parker's timeline can't be the same as it was in the original story (the character was barely just mentioned in "Ant-Man" for the first time in the MCU), but Spider-Man's "Civil War" involvement in Tom Holland's skin could potentially be pretty similar to his comic book counter part.

Heroic Hollywood recently got a tip about Spider-Man's "Civil War" involvement, saying that an insider in the Germany set has just revealed some major information about the shoot: apparently there's a fight scene between Spidey and the Cap!

As Screen Crush reports, Spider-Man's "Civil War" appearance will be the first time ever the character officially appears in the MCU, and he's getting a pretty epic start ahead of his solo 2017 film by fighting the nicest superhero in the entire Marvel world, Steve Rogers himself.

A few days back, Cinema Blend reported on the first footage shown of "Captain America: Civil War," as it was one of the major highlights of this month's D23 expo at Disney, showing off superheroes battling each other.

This is the last week of filming for the third installment of the Cap, and wouldn't Spider-Man's "Civil War" fight be the perfect way to end it before those long months of post-production?
