Stephanie Pratt Launches Tell-All Autobiography, Shares Her Past Addiction to Meth as a Teen

Stephanie Pratt has it made now. She stars in 'Made in Chelsea' and 'The Hills'. In her tell-all autobiography, 'Made in Reality', she talks about her dark past. As a teen, she battled depression and an eating disorder. She also was into substance abuse. At the tender age of 14, she was smoking crystal meth up to 13 times in a day. Even in school, she would smoke in between classes and during break times. Soon after, she moved on to a different high with cocaine.

She explains, 'it made her feel 'rebellious and grown-up'. Her parents did not know how to deal with her 'demons'.

She also liked to drive while under the influence. 'I didn't care about anything. I could live or die, I didn't care'.

In 2006, while in Hawaii, she was arrested for attempting to steal $ 4,000 worth of designer clothes. She was under the influence of drugs. It was a low in her life, and she realized she was letting her family down. She willingly went into rehab.

Sober and clean, she got a good break as part of "The Hills' in 2007, alongside her brother, Spencer. The TV series documents the personal and professional lives of its cast, which includes Lauren Conrad, Kirstin Cavallari, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port and Heidi Montag. The new-found fame, however, gave her more self-imposed stress as she struggled with bulimia, in trying to make sure she is as gorgeous as her co-stars.

She shares on Daily Mail: 'I lost about six pounds in two weeks but bulimia made my face very puffy so I freaked out and began going on crazy little diets, like I'd only eat Tic Tacs.'

She is 29 years old now, and has been living healthy with good diet, exercise and clean lifestyle.

Two years ago, she became a mainstay star in 'Made in Chelsea', and has moved to London. She has been exclusively dating co-star Josh Shepherd since last year.
