National City will be gaining another young celebrity when Peter Pan joins the 'Supergirl' cast!
TVLine has just reported that 'Pan' star Levi Miller will appear in 'Supergirl' as Carter Grant, the son of Cat Grant, played by Calista Flockhart.
The young actor, who will appear in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of the classic J.M. Barrie story, will reportedly be "sensitive and shy," and couldn't be more different from his mother.
Kara (Melissa Benoist) ends up babysitting Carter for her boss and the two get along well enough for the young boy to end up "revealing his true feelings for Supergirl."

There is no question that Levi Miller was recruited for 'Supergirl' by executive producer Greg Berlanti, who had previously worked with the actor on 'Pan.'
"We loved working with him so much on 'Pan,' we were excited to bring him into Supergirl's universe," Berlanti and fellow 'Supergirl' producers told TVLine in a joint statement. "He's an exceptional young actor and a part of the Berlanti Productions family. It will be fun for audiences, who we know will fall in love with him as Peter in Pan on October 9, to see his range with his turn as Calista Flockhart's American son."
Levi Miller has previously appeared in Australian short films like 'Akiva' and 'Great Adventures.' His first full-length Australian film was the 2011 musical comedy 'A Heartbeat Away.' Miller also had a small role as the young General Philbrick in the short-lived TV show 'Terra Nova.' He will portray Peter Pan in the upcoming Hugh Jackman film 'Pan,' which is scheduled for release on October 9.
'Supergirl' also stars Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw and Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers. Jenna Dewan-Tatum was recently confirmed to appear as Lucy Lane.
The series is set to air on CBS on October 26, 2015.
