Mike Epps Caught Trying to Direct Message a Woman on Twitter by His Wife

Mike Epps was busted and he better start explaining to his wife, Mechelle Epps, what he was doing with his Twitter account and another woman.

It sure looked like Mike was getting inappropriate with his direct messages (DM) and his wife saw the whole thing.

The 44-year-old comedian was caught flirting with a woman on Twitter this weekend by none other than his wife, and the way she nabbed him has since sparked many reactions on the Internet.

The married actor and father of four committed a cardinal social media sin when he coerced a female follower to send him a direct message.

Mike’s social media flirting went down on Aug. 15, after he saw a fan with a Twitter name ceciCitra complain about spoilers on Twitter.

Mike figured he’d start up a conversation. "Hey," Mike Epps wrote. "Are you on ig." The woman told Epps that she was off the social media platform. "Wasn't getting the likes I deserve," she replied. Mike cut to the chase and told her to DM him.

Mike forgot that Twitter is seen by everyone, including his wife, Mechelle. She chimed into this little chat with a very appropriate pair of emojii eyes, letting Mike know that she was watching him.

Mike was caught red-handed and he knew he was in trouble. Not only did he stop talking with the woman, he even blocked her from his account an hour later.

The woman posted a screen shot of Epps' profile, which showed that she had been blocked by the comic. "I. Am. Weak," she tweeted.

It seems like Mike realized how badly he screwed up. Although he had not deleted his troublesome tweets by Aug. 18, but at this point, there’s no point in hiding. His flirtatious exchange on Twitter this weekend, which was interrupted by his wife, sparked thousands of responses on social media.

As for ceciCitra, she seemed to be taking the social media extravaganza with a sense of humor, She posted a few memes making fun of Mike getting caught.
