[SEE] New 'Batman V Superman' Evidence That Could Reveal The Joker's True Identity In 'Suicide Squad!' Jared Leto Could Be Robin! [SPOILERS]

[THIS ARTICLE IS ONE BIG SPOILER]

There have been several fan theories making their rounds on the internet about the identity of Jared Leto's Joker in 'Suicide Squad.' One of the more popular theories is that the Joker is actually Jason Todd, who was the second Robin and eventual victim of the first Joker in the brutal 'A Death in the Family' storyline.

Although Jason Todd was murdered by the Joker, he eventually returns as the Red Hood.

Although most fans are still unsure about the theory, new evidence have been uncovered by Reddit user DeathByRequest, who found some interesting details in both 'Suicide Squad' and 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.'

"After many conversations, and research, I've found one thing that I have not seen any other theory state," DeathByRequest wrote. "I feel that the Joker in Suicide Squad is Jason Todd, who was the second Robin."

The Reddit user then presents the evidence, which is the first image of the Joker posted by director David Ayer on Twitter and a screenshot of Robin's vandalized costume in the 'Batman v Superman' Comic-Con trailer.

"In my photo, I highlight two different spots on the Joker that looks to be some sort of gunshot, puncture wound, or burn," DeathByRequest continues. "I also highlight two similar spots on Robin's suit that appear to be a gunshot, puncture, or burn mark."

The new comparison pictures support the 'Jason Todd is the Joker' fan theory, where fans have presented several evidence including Jared Leto's Joker tattoos, the message written on a newspaper clipping about the fall of Wayne Tower and the vandalized Robin suit.

Some fans have also pointed out that in the 'Batman v Superman' trailer, Bruce Wayne asks Alfred, "20 years in Gotham, how many good guys are left? How many stayed that way?" There are speculations that he is referring to Jason Todd, who started out as a good guy but ended up being the Joker.

Is Jared Leto playing Jason Todd playing the Joker? The truth will be revealed when 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' and 'Suicide Squad' are finally released in 2016.
