The 'Resident Evil' movie franchise will finally end with its sixth film and actress Ali Larter can confirm that there will be no other movie after the aptly-named 'The Final Chapter.'
"I know it is," Larter said when IGN asked whether the sixth movie will be the last in the franchise.
Ali Larter has played Claire Redfield in two films of the highly successful franchise based on the zombie video game 'Resident Evil,' and she is understandably proud of what the movies have achieved.
"How many movies have this kind of fanbase and get to be made six times?" Larter said. "I think that's extraordinary."
The former 'Heroes' star only had praise for her 'Resident Evil' costar Milla Jovovich and director Paul W.S. Anderson.
"It's a total testament to Milla and Paul," Larter said. "I'm so grateful to them, that they chose me to be a part of it halfway through, and they've kept me along for the ride."
Ali Larter also spoke about the different female dynamic in the 'Resident Evil' films.
"I love that it's not seven men and one woman," she said. "I mean, these are two women, and they're not competing with each other. You know, there are such easy clichés these two could fall into, but this is definitely a female power movie."

So what's in store for Claire Redfield in 'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter?'
"We are not allowed to say one thing," Larter said with a laugh. "I am held to secrecy, but what I can tell you is that the script is amazing. They're really wrapping up the whole series, so that just makes it a little more poignant."
Ali Larter did confirm that she is looking forward to playing Claire Redfield once more time.
"To be able to come back and reprise my role as Claire and my relationship with Alice, with Umbrella Corp. -- you know, I'm excited to get back in it," she admitted. "I think the fans are just going to be beyond excited."
'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' is set for release on January 27, 2017.
