Although she was at first known best for being the wife of award-winning singer John Legend, in the past couple of years the Sports Illustrated model and "Lip Sync Battle" co-host has made a name for herself - and, of course, with that swimsuit model body, everyone's dying to know Chrissy Teigen's diet.
Over the past couple of days, Chrissy Teigen's diet plan has grown viral, after she mentioned in an interview that she was totally addicted to Doritos dust, which made many wonder if that was solely what she ate, considering the kind of body she has.
Speaking to Delish about Chrissy Teigen's diet, the model mentioned in passing that she often enjoyed licking the dust off Doritos, which was definitely taken the wrong way on social media, with many people taking to Twitter to accuse her of promoting unhealthiness.
According to The Daily Mail, the Doritos comment on Chrissy Teigen's diet caused something of a furor on social media, after many took offense to her commenting she was eating Doritos dust as a "low-carb snack," prompting many to accuse her of promoting eating disorders.
She had to clarify on Twitter than she was only joking and Doritos dust didn't constitute the entirety of her diet - Teigen couldn't believe she actually had to address this, USA Today reports.
In any case, the model and television hostess recently told Delish all about Chrissy Teigen's diet, and her regime is actually a lot easier to follow than it would appear from her figure: she actually indulges in fast food a few times a week!
For Teigen, it's important to skip carbs during the morning, having a "farmer's breakfast" that always includes eggs - however, she says she goes crazy for dinner and has a heavy meal late at night, and her logic is basically that she deserves this after a long day.
As far as snacks go, Teigen loves pickled peppers and byocondiments, being a huge fan of Cholula (she's also fairly big on Ranch) and, in fact, she loves, LOVES the fried chicken her husband John makes.
