Even though the film series has long been over, "Harry Potter" is still very much alive in everyone's hearts. You may want to re-read the 7-book "Harry Potter" series again after seeing these redesigned versions.
Graphic design student Kincso Nagy created a whole new sleek and contemporary look to the "Harry Potter" book series for her final university project.
Imagine: die-cut covers, interactive pop-up pages, and expanding trifold pages. This is the "Harry Potter" book design you probably didn't know you wanted.
Not only that, but the gorgeous illustrations bring a whole new life to Hogwarts, the Forbidden Forest, 4 Privet Drive, and all the other beloved characters from the Wizarding World. All the illustrations were "created with stencil, scanned and colored in Photoshop."
According to Nagy's Behance page:
"The Harry Potter books are extremely magical, mysterious and adventurous. These books are on the border of childhood, therefore my goal was to redesign them with illustrations that reflect this extraordinary atmosphere. I was experimenting with interactive illustrations that do not distract the reader from the plot, but add some meaning to the story. I designed cover illustrations for each book, and illustrations for the first part: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone."
The best part? All the books glow in the dark! Kincso Nagy says, "The magic of the book is reflected by glowing in the dark."
Unfortunately, there's no word yet if Kincso Nagy will be producing these wonderful books, but one thing's for sure: every Harry Potter fan would love to get their hands on these.
One Behance user, Gloria Flores Lleonart, commented, "Stunning! If books will be commercializing in the future, I'll buy it for sure!"
Meanwhile, MK says: "Please tell me that, I can buy [...] this beautiful project." Rosselle Arnaiz-Cruz also said, "Is this already in publication? Where can I buy? I want these for my daughter. And for me, too. *grins*"
