People On Twitter Are Mad About Sephora’s ‘Epic Rewards Day', Turned ‘Epic Fail’ [PHOTOS]

Sephora's facing some major backlash on social media. The beauty retailer was making massive promotions for their yearly Epic Rewards Day, which turned out to be an Epic Fail.

According to several customers on Twitter, Sephora failed to deliver their promise. The Epic Rewards Day promotion enticed customers with luxurious prizes, including a trip to Paris for loyal buyers that have over 10,000 points on their own accounts.

Another prize was $500 worth of products from Make Up For Ever along with a complimentary training session at the brand's beauty academy. In addition, a prize such as a Marc Jacobs Incognito satchel with a Marc Jacobs wallet and some assorted beauty products was also up for grabs.

It doesn't even stop there: customers were also teased about the possibility of garnering gift bags and kits from Elizabeth & James, Drybar, Stila, Bumble & Bumble, Bobbi Brown and Benefit.

With all these prizes available for beauty buyers, it was highly expected that there was going to be a large demand. As it turns out, Sephora didn't provide enough prizes - within seconds, the rewards and prizes were instantly unavailable.

To add more salt to the wound, Sephora didn't notify customers of the promotion time clearly. In a tweet, Sephora ambiguously announced: "The Epic Rewards will be launching on 8/10/15 during business hours (PST)."

Sephora also failed to give proper responses to the amount of objections they received regarding lack of prizes.
