Johnny Depp Net Worth: Actor’s Band ‘Hollywood Vampires’ Recruits Dave Grohl, Sir Paul McCartney, Slash + More [PHOTOS]

Johnny Depp has long sworn that he's not pursuing music as a second career. However, his recent endeavors say otherwise.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise actor has long been passionate about the arts, and spends his free time filling in the role of guitarist for his new band, Hollywood Vampires.

Hollywood Vampires is just as badass and rockstar-filled as it sounds. In fact, Johnny Depp's band mates include his "Dark Shadows" co-star Alice Cooper, and Aerosmith's Joe Perry.

Originally formed as a tribute band to the original Hollywood Vampires, whom grouped together back in the 70s at the Los Angeles Rainbow Bar & Grill.

Johnny Depp and the new Hollywood Vampires have recruited a number of A-List musicians as they prep to release their first album, aptly self-titled.

Expect to hear Foo Fighter's Dave Grohl, The Beatles' Sir Paul McCartney, Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver's Slash, Jane's Addiction's Perry Farrell, Winger and Alice Cooper's Kip Winger, AC/DC's Brian Johnson, The Who's Zak Starkey, and The Eagles' Joe Walsh.

The "Hollywood Vampires" 14-track album mostly consists of covers from The Doors, Pink Floyd and Alice Cooper. Not only that, but the album also includes a "spoken word section narrated by the recently deceased Christopher Lee," as per Entertainment Tonight.

It gets even better: profits from the album release will be donated to charity. The "Hollywood Vampires" album is slated for release on Friday, September 11, 2015. The album can be pre-ordered on iTunes now.

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp net worth currently stands at $400 million. The number comes to no surprise though, since Johnny Depp reportedly earns $20 million per film.
