Fans of the "Paparazzi" singer have been looking forward to details about Lady Gaga's "American Horror Story" character since her appearance in the show's "Hotel" season was confirmed a few months back, and this is the first time that the show's creator, Ryan Murphy, hands out some scoop about what to expect from the Monster Queen!
The past few weeks have been filled about information about beloved shows and upcoming ones during the Television Critics' Association press tour, and it's now officially time for the scariest serial on television, which now includes Lady Gaga's "American Horror Story" character - and, as would be expected from the Tony Bennett collaborator, it sounds amazing!
According to Irish Examiner, Lady Gaga's "American Horror Story" character will see the 29 year-old pop star as a bisexual hotel owner with an evil plan, in the fifth season of the show, this time focusing on a very creepy hotel.
"Her character's name is Elizabeth," Murphy told Entertainment Weekly about Lady Gaga's "American Horror Story" character. "She owns the hotel, and she is sort of a very wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art and fashion and people and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode and plays out over the course of the season. She starts shooting on Monday."
A very exciting time for Gaga's Little Monsters!
As Yahoo! News reports, besides Lady Gaga's "American Horror Story" appearance, the fifth season of the show will see Golden Globe winners Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley and Chloe Sevigny joining the cast, besides others like Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson returning to play new roles, as the series changes stories every season to see the actors playing entirely different characters.
Interestingly enough, Murphy also revealed that characters from previous seasons might appear in the new season as well, checking into the hotel.
We can't wait for Lady Gaga's "American Horror Story" role!
