For one day this summer, August 11, soft drinks brand Innocent will be opening the Coconut Watering Hole, an emoji bar 2015 where customers can chill from the hot summer by ordering delicious cocktails in the most technologically savvy way possible, through emojis!
The themed pop-up bar or restaurant is the latest big trend in London, with past editions including one themed as "Game of Thrones" and current ones taking their cue from "Breaking Bad" and even David Lynch's "Twin Peaks," now there are efforts well beyond television shows and movies, as the emoji bar 2015 will be launched later this month.
According to BreakingNews.ie, the emoji bar 2015's system is a fairly interesting one, as it's not simply calling out to waiters but, in fact, to get a cocktail, patrons have to follow two: first, post a picture to Instagram that'll help waiters recognize them, then tag it with a hashtag with the emojis representing the cocktail they'll be drinking - and then the waiter will bring it right to your table!
As Event Magazine reports, as the company behind the emoji bar 2015 is a soft drinks one, in fact the place will only be serving mocktails, that is to say, cocktails with no alcohol in them, so it's a family-friendly place to hang out at!
Some of the mocktails served at the emoji bar 2015 will include Georgia Peach (a blend of coconut water, lemon juice, peach juice, vanilla and cinnamon) and the FroYo Coco (coconut water, passion fruit, lime and natural frozen yogurt).
According to The Independent, entrance to the bar will be free for the one day it's available, and its location will be Boxpark in Shoreditch, where people will be able to freshen up with some delicious coconut-flavored mocktails.
If you're in London for August 11, don't miss the chance to visit the emoji bar 2015, which will be open from 8am to 7:30pm!
