Nicolle Wallace ‘The View’: Another Co-Host Leaves Disgraced ABC Show – To Cover Donald Trump’s White House Bid At MSNBC

The past few months have been downright disgraceful for any ounce of stability "The View" once had, as two of its primary hosts have stepped out from it, namely Rosie O'Donnell and most recently Rosie Perez, with now Nicolle Wallace's "The View" departure following suit.

The morning show has been struggling to recover past ratings by bringing in new talent, recently hiring "Cosby Show" alum Raven-Symoné as one of the panelists, but there's going to be even more movement now in the hosting seats after the official Nicolle Wallace "The View" departure, as she'll be gone from the show after this season.

According to The Daily Mail, Nicolle Wallace's "The View" departure was announced this Thursday, and it seems clear that she may have quickly outgrown the format, as she heads to MSNBC to cover the current GOP campaign of billionaire Donald Trump.

"Team, Our friend Nicolle Wallace is going to leave the show at the conclusion of the season," wrote EP Bill Wolff in a recently discovered memo about Nicolle Wallace's "The View" exit found by Deadline. "Having worked with her for most of the last year, you know the warmth, smarts, and professionalism she has brought to the job every day. She will always be a friend of our show, and I know you join me in wishing her only the best."

Only last month, the show's producers diminished Nicolle Wallace's "The View" role, as she was demoted from regular co-host to guest contributor - but she wouldn't have this now and decided to step down from the show entirely.

According to The New York Daily News, Wallace saw this as a "step down," understandably so considering her past jobs include being George W. Bush's chief of communications and a senior adviser in the McCain-Palin campaign in 2008.

It appears she hadn't been a good fit for the show as she wasn't as stridently contradictory to her more liberal co-hosts as was expected, besides not knowing all that much about celebrity gossip.

The last Nicolle Wallace "The View" appearance will be by the end of the season.
