As the ongoing fight with Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams on one side and the Marvin Gaye estate on the other continues regarding copyright infringement over "Blurred Lines," rumor has it that Paula Patton's ex-husband is finally moving on in a big way from his disastrous split, asking Robin Thicke's girlfriend, April Love Geary, to become his wife.
Geary has been Robin Thicke's girlfriend since last fall, and they appeared together for the first time last spring during the famed Cannes Film Festival, and it appears that even though they've been together for less than a year, they might be moving forward in their relationship.
According to Life and Style Magazine, the "Blurred Lines" singer recently popped the question to Robin Thicke's girlfriend (who at 20 is 18 years younger than the 38 year-old star) and she said yes, after months of reports that their relationship has helped him mend his heart after a very painful split.
"Robin's moving really quick with the relationship," a source close to the couple told the magazine. "Both his parents have told him to take some time and not rush into marriage again so soon."
In 2014, Thicke went on a very public crusade to get Patton back, releasing an album called "Paula" and dedicating tour dates to her, to no avail - only a few months back, their divorce was finalized, and it seems that Robin Thicke's girlfriend has made the singer happy once more.
However, The Daily Mail reports that the rumors that Robin Thicke's girlfriend is now his fiancée are no more than that, after reps for the singer have said publicly that the allegations are untrue and that the two are still just dating.
According to The New York Daily News, reps have said the rumors are "100 percent untrue," although they've been very happy together - regarding Robin Thicke's girlfriend, the "Lost Without U" singer said that it's been a year of "growth" with the 20 year-old!
