'Miles Teller' Slams Esquire After Bad Interview, 'Fantastic Four' Co-Stars To The Rescue

Miles Teller has slammed Esquire following their September issue cover describing the star as a "d**k." Miles is not pleased and it appears Esquire picked the wrong words for his cover story.

In response to Esquire's seemingly shaming description, the 28-year-old "Fantastic Four" star took to Twitter Wednesday to tell the publication that their article is "misrepresenting."

The Miles Teller Esquire cover story was written by Anna Peele.

"Our latest cover star is on a quest for greatness. Sometimes that can involve a bit of d**kishness too," the writer claimed, while adding unflattering narratives about the "Divergent" star. This include a rape joke he said referring to Uber.

"So yeah, he is kind of a d**k," said Peel.

In the Miles Teller Esquire cover story, the actor has admitted that he's fully aware of the fact that people think of him as "ugly."

"I was thinking about that today, how I probably think I'm better-looking than the public thinks I am," said the "Whiplash" star, laughing.

"I was in one of these forums about a film I did, and it's like, 'This dude is so ugly! How does he get f-king parts?' 'Well, he's not, like, traditionally handsome, but...' And that's kind of what it is. Maybe it's because I came from a small town, but I always did well for myself," he added.

Teller also told Esquire about his college days being a huge stoner. Apparently, he had to quit his old habits because of his career.

The magazine also brought up a TMZ video of the 28-year-old star dancing in Napa while seemingly intoxicated. To that, the star told Esquire, "I don't give a s-t."

"I can either censor myself or not, and you're always trying to figure it out. It's how you deal with the paparazzi. Do you not do what you would do?" he told the mag.

"Do you live your life with all these filters and censors because everyone has a camera? Or do you f-king dance how you would dance and have people say, 'Oh, he's on drugs'? I was drinking. And was at a f-king Brett Dennen f-king concert," he concluded.

Meanwhile, Esquire has yet to responded regarding Teller's complaint.

However, his "The Fantastic Four" co-stars came to his rescue via Twitter.

"@Miles_Teller is a great actor & a great guy," tweeted Jamie Bell.

Kate Mara defended and praised Miles and said her "movie husband" is a "crazy talented and a truly fantastic person."

At the same time that the Miles Teller Esquire news surfaced, on Tuesday night, the actor appeared at the New York City premiere of Fantastic Four with his stunning model girlfriend Keleigh Sperry, according to The Daily Mail.

While Esquire has not commented on their cover story, it appears Miles has put the past behind him. He and Keleigh were spotted looking happy while listening to a live band on a Washington Square Park bench the following morning.
