Taylor Swift Announced 'Wildest Dreams' As 1989's Fifth Single

Taylor Swift will be releasing 'Wildest Dreams' as the fifth single off of her record-breaking 2014 record '1989' according to reports.

On Wednesday, August 5, the 'Bad Blood' singer sent the news on her official Twitter account to her more than 61 million followers.

"Just wanted to let you know that the next single from 1989 will be.... Wildest Dreams.", she wrote.

Reports say that Swift's fifth single 'Wildest Dreams' is believed to be one of her most sexually mature songs recorded for her fifth studio album, which debuted last October 2014.

With its lyrics, "His hands are in my hair, his clothes are in my room / And his voice is a familiar sound, nothing lasts forever." She then goes on to say, "He's so tall, and handsome as hell / He's so bad but he does it so well," which fans and listeners have suggested to mean a sexual act.

Swift, 25, along with the music producer, Max Martin, and songwriter, Shellback, revealed what was their inspiration while making the 'dreamy' song.

"'Wildest Dreams' is the best example of how my expectations have changed when it comes to love," Swift said. "Now, when I meet someone and there's chemistry, my first thoughts are 'When this ends, I hope you'll remember me well."

The new single will follow the other hit tracks from Taylor, including 'Blank Space', 'Shake It Off', 'Style' and 'Bad Blood'. As for the mentioned tracks, three of them have made it to the top on Billboard's Hot 100 charts.

Since the release of Swift's '1989' album last year, it has reportedly sold more than 5 million units across the U.S and has been held as the highest-selling album for the year 2015.

As for her tours and concerts, Taylor Swift is currently busy completing her '1989' World Tour.
