Nicole Barr is a 12-year-old student living in Harlow, Essex, United Kingdom. This young girl was able to perfectly score a 162 on a Mensa IQ test she recently took.

Nicole Barr's IQ test results are two points higher than Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking's scores. In fact, Nicole took the test the same time her father, Jim Barr, did.

"When I found out I got such a high score, it was so unexpected. I was shocked," Nicole said. However, Nicole Barr's parents weren't as shocked as she was.

Nicole's mother, Dolly Buckland notes: "From a young age she's been picking out mistakes in books and magazines. She's a happy, fun-loving girl who is always asking for extra homework."

Jim Barr said that he had a feeling that his daughter would be accepted in the elite society of Mensa, even though the institution is very picky with admittances. Mensa only accepts members if they score in the top two percent of the IQ test.

Jim tells Yahoo Parenting: "I was expecting her to do well. I knew she had a quick mind for working our problems and puzzles. I didn't want put any pressure on her, so we went for the fun of it."

"I had the idea on my mind that she would get into Mensa, but when I got the results back, I thought, 'Wow that's a high score!' It wasn't until later that I learned it was the top score possible on that test," Jim Barr added.

Communications manager for British Mensa, Ann Clarkson, confirmed the news of Nicole's standard test of intelligence results.

"[A score of] 162 puts her in the top one percent of the population, so it is exceptional by any definition," Clarkson said.

Nicole Barr's score is even higher than her father's. "She was rubbing my face in it a bit. She obviously beat me by a long way," Jim admitted.
