Hurricane Sandy live coverage is available online, with coverage in New York, New Jersey, Long Island (NY), Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, Rhode Island and North Carolina.

Experts say the storm, with an expanse of nearly 900 miles, will affect mid-Atlantic states all the way to New England. Some areas can experience up to 12 inches of rain and 85 miles per hour winds.
Warnings have already been issued and major power outages are expected. Last year, Hurricane Irene left 6 million homes without electricity. Sandy could cause more power outages than that.
Sandy is expected to cause storm surges that will break records, due to the high tide tonight.
In New York City, Mayor Bloomberg evacuated the low-lying areas of the city, namely lower Manhattan which encompasses over 375,000 people. New Yorkers can expect over 80 miles per hour winds.
President Obama will be making a statement today at 12:45 p.m. EDT on Hurricane Sandy. "This is a serious and big storm," Obama said during a briefing at the federal government's storm response center in Washington. "We don't yet know where it's going to hit, where we're going to see the biggest impacts."
