WWE Signed 8-Year-Old Cancer Patient As WWE Superstar

On Monday night Raw, an 8-year-old cancer patient was given the chance to live his dream as a WWE superstar. According to Unilad, Elijah Mainville was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when he was younger, but his battle with cancer did not stop him from conquering his big shot dream.

Elijah caught the eye of WWE after sending his audition tape for its reality TV show, 'Tough Enough' few months ago.

Tough enough indeed, as WWE sent him a heart-warming video with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon inviting him into the ring for the August 3 episode of Raw in San Jose, California.

Aside from meeting his favorite WWE Superstar Star Dust, Elijah also signed his contract as the newest WWE superstar himself, using his legit screen name, Drax Shadow.

"Don't fear the darkness, fear the shadow!" The youngest WWE member growled on the microphone.

"What an honor to sign our newest Superstar, Drax Shadow, AKA Elijah Mainville!" Stephanie McMahon tweeted.

"Just blown away by Elijah...I mean Drax Shadow. He truly embodies what it means to be #ToughEnough #WWE," Triple H followed.

With millions of fans worldwide, it has been a part of the World Wrestling Entertainment's responsibility to be concerned with their younger fans. Aside from always reminding viewers, "Don't try this at home," superstars would also point out that the live action is just for pure entertainment.

Last January on Raw, WWE COO and thirteen-time world champion Triple H broke his evil character to console a young boy who was crying while watching John Cena beaten up in a handicap match against Seth Rollins, Kane, and Big Show.

The "Cerebral Assassin" also known as "The Game", who gets to decide the main event fights took off his 'bad guy' mask upon seeing the young fan breaking in tears.

"Triple H just made a kid sitting front row cry. He then apologized, rubbed the boys head, and gave him a smile," an on-looker tweeted. "I have a lot of respect for how @TripleH handled the crying kid tonight. Something you would've never seen if you weren't there live," he added.

After the show, Triple H lit up the young boy's mood by inviting him and his father to meet his favorite superstars backstage. Triple H's real-life wife and WWE's wicked boss, Stephanie McMahon was nice enough to talk to the little boy too.
