For its second year, the Big Bite Bacon Festival has once again opened its alley, serving mouth-watering bacon-y treats at Long Beach California last weekend.
Food Beast reports the food festival was like the "Coachella of bacon," offering free-taste bites of different types of food and drinks (even alcoholic beverages) infused, wrapped, filled and topped with bacon.
Among the delicious bacon stuffed grubs revelers got to try were OC Donut Bar's Maple Bacon Donut; Dia De Los Puercos' Bacon-Stuffed, PB&J, Fried Churro Hog Pockets; Fry Fry Truck's Bacon-Stuffed Fried Twinkies; Whole Foods' Jalapeno and Bacon Gouda-Stuffed BBQ Meatballs, and Chipotle Cheddar Bacon Dip and Tofurky bacon alternative; Hawkins House of Burgers' Hawkins Bacon Slider; Big Mista's Barbecue's Bacon and Ribs in a Steamed Bun; Los Ruizenorez Taco Catering's Al Pastor con Bacon Tacos; and Dog Haus' The Porky Fig, which is "an emmentaler cheese-stuffed sausage, fig & onion relish, wild arugula, whole grain mustard aioli, with sliced almonds on a King's Hawaiian Bun."

The Prince and Pantry's Millionaire Bacon Bar was awarded as this year's Critic's Choice for serving bacon with "graham crackers, pretzels, potato chips, salted caramel, chocolate, coconut, butterscotch and peanut butter."

Food truck and booths also served bacon-wrapped goodies like Mexico City Cuisine's Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Drumsticks; West Grove Smokehouse's Bacon-Wrapped Meatballs; and StuffNIt Burgers' Bacon-Wrapped Cheese Bombs.
Kids enjoyed snacking on bacon-y munchies such as Ghost Scream Hot Sauce's Spicy Caramel Popcorn with Bacon Bits, Sugar Spin's Bacon and Fruity Pebbles-Covered Cotton Candy, and Artesana's Peanut Butter Bacon & Banana popsicle.

Bacon-infused beverages such as Bakon Vodka's Bacon Bloody Mary, Hollywood Hard Rock Café's Boozy Bacon Milkshake, and Belching Beaver Brewery's Peanut Butter Milk Stout and Pineapple Colada IPA were also overflowing to quench the thirst of the visitors.
Organizers at The Big Bite Bacon Fest plans to throw the bacon feast every year in "celebration of the World's most-beloved protein."
