Lance Bass is crediting firefighters for kepeing his house in tact, Entertainment Tonight reports.
On Friday, a wild fire broke at the former *NSYNC member's Sherman Oaks neighborhood, burning 2 acres of properties. Thankfully, a helicopter flew in to splash gallons of water and ceased further damage.
Bass captured the rescue on a video and posted it on Instagram. "Firefighters protecting my house right now! Thanks fellas!"

The summer heat has brought California in a "state of emergency" with a number of wildfires starting everywhere. Police officers and firefighters have been incredibly consistent as heroes for saving local residents from danger.
"Thanks to these fine men and the rest of the firefighters/ police that helped save our neighborhood today," Lance captioned a photo of him with the firefighters with a hashtag, #LanceOnFire.

Singing 'Bye, Bye, Bye' to fire, Lance was relieved and went back inside his Los Angeles home, which he shares with husband for 7 months, Michael Turchin.
Bass, 35, and Turchin, 28, got married on December 20, 2014 and made history as the first same-sex couple to get married on an Americal national TV network. With non-traditional highlights such as puppy ring-bearers, supermodel flower girls, and joint bachelor parties, the most-watched gay wedding feature was full of love, laughter, tears, and joy.
Among invited family and friends were Bass' former band mates JC Chasez and Joey Fatone, Lisa Vanderpump and Kris Jenner.
"Newlywed life has been amazing," although "we feel like we were married before, because we had been living together for over three years," Bass told People Magazine.
"We definitely want a family," he added. "That's one of the reasons we wanted to commit to each other. I'd say in the next two or three years we're going to start that family."
Bass also gushed about his artist and LGBT activist husband saying, "I know my husband's going to be the best dad ever."
