Cast Of The New 'Ghostbusters' Bashed After Visiting Children In The Hospital

The whole cast of the upcoming reboot movie 'Ghosbuters' was slammed on social media after visiting the patients at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center on Saturday, August 11, according to reports.

Their visit at the hospital received backlash on the internet due to the cast having an all-female ghost-hunting team, which everyone believes to be the newest version of the Ghosbusters movie.

Despite the happy photos posted on the Tuffs Medical Center's Facebook page, showing the actresses bringing some joy to the sick children, some haters still dared to throw hateful comments to show their disappointment to the new 'Ghostbusters' franchise.

Movie director Paul Feig, said "Honestly, the only way I could ruin your childhood is if I got into a time machine and went back and made you an orphan."

DC Women Kicking Ass even commented, saying, "Really how awful a person do you have to be to hate a new version of Ghostbusters that you go to the page of Children's Hospital to attack?"

On the other hand, the hospital's page has also reminded the users of the Facebook's profanity policy: "Please remember our Facebook policy is that any comments with profanity will be deleted. Thank you."

Amidst all the bashing and negative feedbacks, the sick patients at the hospital were obviously delighted with the cast and thanked them for the surprise visit. The cast had also brought more smiles to the children as they used their ghost scanner to check if there were ghosts hiding under their beds.

They captioned, "Floating Hospital for Children at Tuffs Medical Center patients got a huge surprise today when Ghostbusters stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wigg, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones came to visit! Thank you for taking the time out of filming today to out a big smile on our patients faces! #WhoYouGonnaCall #Ghostbusters"

Brooke Hynes, the hospital's vice president for public affair and communications, said "They were a true delight to have today. They were so kind to all the kids and their parents. They took their time in each room visiting children as young as a few months to teens."

The new 'Ghostbusters' will be hitting theaters in July 2016.
