Former wrestling champion turned Hollywood actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has voiced out his opinion about the recent N-word scandal that famous wrestler Hulk Hogan got himself while doing a session for the Television Critics' Association press tour on July 30.
During a press conference for The Rock's new HBO series Ballers, The Wrap asked him about his opinion regarding the comment that Hogan left the press on Thursday mentioning the N-word. He said that he was disappointed with what Hogan said. He told the press twice how he didn't expect that to come from the WWE star. Hogan's contract with WWE has been cancelled after he made some rants using the N-word from a scandalous tape that was released.
The Rock told the press that he has known Hogan aka Terry for a long time. He said, "My dad helped train him in Florida in the '70s when he was breaking into the business. My uncles helped train him as well. So I'd not known him to be racist."
According to Gossip Cop, The Rock continued his comments about Hogan saying, "It's funny, it's one of those things where - I'm not justifying what he said - but we've all talked trash. Especially in private."
The WWE legend can no longer take back what he said and he is now reaping what he sow from doing it. On the other hand, he is still getting some support from other legendary wrestlers despite of what he said. His racist comment however, left more people pissed than supportive of his career and his image.
It's not just the racist remarks that brought Hogan's career to drain, but also some of the things he said against the LGBT community according to Gossip Cop. Hogan already apologized what he did but has not released another statement since then.
