Ben Affleck has just hit back at the recent US Weekly expose claiming that he is currently dating his kids' former nanny. Through his representatives, The Academy Award Winner has said that the entire story is a fabrication and that they are looking at taking legal action.
"This is a false and baseless story based on innocuous photos, and we're looking at pursuing legal action," said Affleck's representative to the LA Times. "We're coming out fighting. The story is complete garbage and full of lies. You shouldn't be able to hide behind 'blind sources' and attempt to destroy families going through a difficult time. It's like story time in kindergarten."
Last month, Affleck announced that he was calling it quits with his wife of 10 years, Actress Jennifer Garner. In a joint statement made on June 30, the couple said:
"We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. ... Thank you for understanding."
US Weekly alleges that the Batman v. Superman has already moved on, saying that he has begun dating Christine Ouzounian, a nanny that the couple hired last spring. The US article says:
The pair spent time together at Affleck's new L.A.-area rental on July 17 and, says the Ouzounian pal, were in constant contact over text and email. "She says Ben really, really likes her," says the friend. "She's saying this is true love."
Affleck and Garner met while on working together on Marvel's 2003 superhero film Daredevil. He can next be seen in another iconic Comic book role next summer when he dons the cape and cowl of Batman in the highly anticipated blockbuster: Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
