Jessica Alba is an actress and runs a $ 1 billion business empire. She can play different roles - dive under sea or be a Dark Angel. She can be tough in business and make others cry. But when it comes to her parenting skills, she admits in Yahoo Parenting that she is afraid of being judged by 'Mean Girl' moms.
The Barely Lethal star and multi-award actress explained how confused she was when she was a first-time mom with Honor, now 7. She has another daughter, Haven, 3. She felt like the 'Mean Girl' moms were out to judge her and her parenting skills.
Now that she is a seasoned mom of 2, she gives out unsolicited advice about parenting. 'Now I'm one of those moms that give you too much advice that you may or may not want.'
She also wrote a book in 2013 'The Honest Life', and one of the issues she discussed was breastfeeding. She talked about her experience of wanting to breastfeed, but having to answer the demands of work.
Alba is the brains and force behind Honest Company, a business she co-founded in 2012, selling eco-friendly products from cleaning materials to diapers to skin-care items that are free from harmful chemicals and toxins. The company supports breastfeeding, but it also gives options to mothers who, like Alba, had to work, and so they launched their feeding line. "So whether you want to breastfeed, or whether you want to supplement feed, we're going to give you the best in both areas."
This week, Alba launches their newest products - the feminine care line. It is organic, safe to use and well, practical, but playful, too. For character, it comes in a packaging described as 'not boring' nor 'loud
