Walter Palmer: Harrassed Female Employee; See Court Documents

Walter Palmer, the Minnesota dentist who has achieved worldwide notoriety for killing Cecil the lion, the most famous lion in Africa, was revealed to have harassed a female employee. Palmer has settled the case out of court in 2009 for the price of $127,500.

The settlement that Walter Palmer issued was made to a former female employee of the doctor's Minneapolis dental office. In court documents below, the employee alleges that Palmer subjected her to "ongoing and unwelcome sexual harassment by, but not limited to, verbal comments and physical conduct involving her breasts, buttocks and genitalia."

Because of the Walter Palmer's harassment, the woman informed her supervisor and Palmer himself that she wants the harassment to stop. However, the abuse continued and the woman said she was fired after she reported the harassment. While the case has been settled, Palmer admitted to no such allegations, reported Raw Story.

The harassment claim filed by the employee of Walter Palmer with the Minnesota Board of Dentistry, cites that the woman worked for the dentist from 1999 to January 2005. She also had several dental procedures performed by the married father of two.

In reply to the settlement, the Minnesota Board of Dentistry dismissed the complaint and Walter Palmer was told to take an ethics course, according to The Daily Mail.

The harassment complaint comes as an unwelcome revelation after the dentist has received backlash and death threats on social media for killing Cecil the lion.

On Wednesday, Walter Palmer's dental office remains closed as outrage and attention surrounds the doctor, according to The New York Times.

The outrage first erupted Tuesday, after Palmer was identified as the shooter of Cecil the lion. He has since gone into hiding after apologizing to his patients and after issuing a letter of apology to the public.
