5 Actors Who Could Replace Channing Tatum as Gambit

It seems like Channing Tatum may be leaving his Gambit project. But here are 5 actors who are possible candidates to replace Tatum in the upcoming Gambit Movie.

Matt Bomer:

Bomer has proven how great of an actor he is with his role in White Collar, Magic Mike, as well as his stage debut as Jeff Zarrillo in the play, '8'. He has the look and a great voice that could absolutely pull this role off.

Ian Somerhalder:

Somerhalder is a terrific actor. He plays an amazing douchebag in The Vampire Diaries, and played a young naive lifeguard in Lost. He can absolutely play cocky and confident, and has the ability to play that naive character learning about what it's like to live as a mutant.

Gaspard Ulliel:

He has the look absolutely down, He was fantastic as Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising. I believe with enough work he could pull off a believable Cajun accent. He's a great actor with tons of potential and could make an amazing Remy LeBeau.

Jake Gyllenhaal:

He absolutely crushes it in practically every movie he's in. Prince of Persia was great. Then, he completely turns it around and plays the sleuthing journalist in Nightcrawler a thrilling masterpiece. Then, he bulked up again and brought it in Southpaw, one of the best performances ever seen on screen in a beautifully done movie.

Richard Madden:

Richard is a great actor and could bring something new to the X-Men franchise. He also has a very strong voice, considering he voiced Alucard in the new Castlevania games. He can pull off an American accent as he did in the film, Klondike. If he put a Cajun twist on the accent, then you would have one kick ass Gambit.

Whether Fox keeps their original October 2016 release date or decides to delay it, they will still have to find a replacement to portray Remy LeBeau. With that in mind, these are the five actors we think could to the longtime X-Men character justice on the big screen.
