'Star Wars' Update: Syrio Forel Of 'Game Of Thrones' To Join Brienne Of Tarth In 'The Force Awakens'

The world will finally know what happened to Arya Stark's "water dancing" instructor after he disappeared in the first season of 'Game of Thrones.' It turns out Syrio Forel gave up the wooden sword for a lightsaber and will join Brienne of Tarth in 'Star Wars Episode VII!'

According to BBC, former 'Game of Thrones' actor Miltos Yerolemou has been casted in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.' Given his swordfighting skills that were displayed in the HBO show's first season, Yerolemou is expected to wield one of those lightsabers in the 'Star Wars' sequel.

Miltos Yerolemou's role in 'The Force Awakens' is being speculated as a minor character.

If the speculations are true, Syrio Forel will be joining Brienne of Tarth in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.' Gwendoline Christie has been confirmed to play Captain Phasma in 'Episode VII.' But will Syrio Forel be fighting with Brienne of Tarth, or against her?

Captain Phasma is set to be one of the main antagonists in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.' There is a possibility that Miltos Yerolemou's sword skills will be put to use to help the Jedi, but he could also be one of the reasons that Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) is really good at wielding that red crossguard lightsaber.

Lucasfilm had no comment on Yerolemou's casting.

According to his IMDb, Miltos Yerolemou has appeared in the TV series Wolf Hall and is rumored to be a part of the upcoming film 'Dark Continents.'

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' stars John Boyega and Daisy Ridley as the two main protagonists. They are joined by 'Ex Machina' actors Oscar Isaac and Domhnall Gleeson. Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill will reprise their roles as Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker.

'Episode VII' will finally hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
