'Deadpool' fans are still waiting for the much talked-about trailer for the film that debuted at the San Diego Comic-Con. The three-minute long teaser is said to be more than just a red-band trailer; it also hinted on just how R-rated the movie is going to be.
The Deadpool Comic-Con trailer may still be unreleased, but luckily, Empire has just revealed three new movie stills that show Wade Wilson without the mask and a glimpse at Morena Baccarin as Copycat.
The first image shows Deadpool ready for an attack with his swords out. There are several cars in the background, which suggests that it might be the same scene Ryan Reynolds was seen filming a few months ago.
Negasonic Teenage Warhead is unleashed in the second photograph. The young mutant, played by Brianna Hildebrand, was named for the 1995 Monster Magnet song. She is expected to be an ally to Deadpool.
Wade Wilson is finally unmasked in the third picture, which also features a first look at Copycat (Morena Baccarin). Vanessa Carlysle is also a mutant who can shapeshift and mimic other superpowers. The picture suggests that she will be Deadpool's love interest.
Ryan Reynolds appears to be satisfied with the 'Deadpool' standalone film, as he is vocal about not being happy with the character's appearance in 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine.' He told the crowd at the panel during Comic-Con that he didn't like the idea of Wade Wilson having to keep his mouth shut.
"The mouth is not sewn shut at any point in this film," he said. "I wasn't even paid, I just insisted on that."
'Deadpool' also stars former 'Game of Thrones' star Ed Skrein as Ajax, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust and Andre Tricoteux as Colossus. The film is directed by Tim Miller and will hit theaters on February 5, 2016.
