The film might not be released soon, but anticipation for 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' is skyrocketing due to the San Diego Comic-Con panel in Hall H. It also helped that the Comic-Con trailer was immediately released publicly after its debut in SDCC.

Fans were once again thrilled when Empire Magazine unveiled the cover of their September issue, which features full body shots of Batman and Superman.

The image shows the Dark Knight (Ben Affleck) and the Kryptonian (Henry Cavill) standing side by side.

The Empire issue will also feature an interview with the stars as well as director Zack Snyder, who explains the darkness in the Caped Crusader.

"There is just this gravitas to Batman," Snyder said. "He is operatic."

According to Henry Cavill, Superman also has a particular unpredictability in the film.

"In this movie, everyone has split into different directions as to how they feel about this alien," he said. "Some people love him, some hate him. Other people fear him."

He adds a curious question, "Is he a tyrant?"

The Empire cover also offers a glimpse at the superheroes without their suits. The inside page will feature Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent without their alter egos.

'Batman v Superman' will also feature Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and a possible appearance from Aquaman (Jason Momoa). The film will not only introduce the new Bruce Wayne, but it will also pave the way for the upcoming 'Justice League' movie.

Zack Snyder confirms that he had the other DC films in mind when he was working on 'Batman v Superman.'

"I want all the other directors of the other films to be able to stretch their legs and do what they want, but at the same time there is a big interconnected universe," he said.

'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' will premiere on March 25, 2016.
