Boxer Turned Actor Victor Ortiz Arrested For Alleged Assault

Boxer turned actor Victor Ortiz was arrested during a Kenny Chesney concert for an alleged assault with a deadly weapon in California this weekend.

'The Expendables 3' actor Victor Ortiz and his brother were at the Rose Bowl on Saturday night to see Kenny Chesney concert, where they got a heated verbal altercation with another man but things got intense that it went to physical contact, TMZ reports.

The word war escalated into physical brawl, when the unnamed alleged victim was on the ground, the ex- boxing champ allegedly kicked him, low enforcement told the site.

Ortiz and his brother were arrested by the cops during the concert for the felony assault with a deadly weapon, for using his foot to injure the victim.

Ortiz was booked but later on released after bailing $30,000.

Victor Ortiz's team didn't comment about the incident yet.

While fans are waiting for Ortiz side, the former WBC welterweight champion already made a statement about Floyd Mayweather and Ronda Rousey fantasy rivalry.

In a statement, Ortiz made it obvious that he is not siding with his fellow boxer, insisting that "Money" has no chance against "Rowdy," according to MMA News.

"That's a different world [for Mayweather]. A boxer can't step into an Octagon and do boxing things to them. And if it is, it's probably minimal."

"To think that Floyd has a chance in a UFC [fight], against Ronda, no. But it's also the other way around, if you put a UFC fighter strictly boxing for 12 rounds, it's different. It's just you can't compare the two sports, I don't think."

Although he skip the critical question who he thinks would win the fight, he just made it clear that Mayweather and Rousey's sports are just two different things, so you "can't compare the two sport."
