Liam Neeson Looking Frail and Almost Unrecognizable

Liam Neeson, the 63-year old, Irish actor, who plays the role of a butt-kicking CIA operative Bryan Mills in the Taken franchise. The actor was photographed last week looking quite weak and delicate in the streets of New York. Neeson not looking well got much concern amongst his fans.

Liam Neeson appears almost unrecognizable, looking quite frail, exhausted and unwell in the face with long gray wispy hair hidden underneath a baseball cap. Compared to weeks before that, the Taken actor was seen visiting the Ronald McDonald House in New York looking healthy.

But rumors spread around that the dramatic weight loss of Liam Neeson could be for his new film. His two other films are already in post-production.

Liam Neeson will take the lead role as Father Cristóvão Ferreira in Silence, which is directed by Martin Scorsese. The 63-year old, Irish actor will also be playing a Monster in A Monster Calls. Both films of Liam Neeson already entered the post-production stages and slated for release in 2016.

Recently, Liam Neeson announced that within the next two years, he will be retiring from action roles. Liam Neeson said, "Maybe two more years - if God spares me, and I'm healthy."

The frail appearance of Liam Neeson was explained by one of the actor's representative, and stated, "He has just completed work on one film and starts another in September. He's never been healthier."

Liam Neeson will turned 63 in June, Neeson has this to say about his birthday, "My birthday is a touchy subject. I'm going to be 63 - nobody wants to be 63! I'm getting old." Liam Neeson also said, "What I want more than anything is for it to be ignored. I just hate it and it makes me feel vulnerable. It's such a private thing - the day you were born, the day you came out of your mother's womb. "Some people hire a boat and do grand things like that, but I just get embarrassed about that sort of celebration and attention."
