‘X-Files’ Reboot 2015: Lone Gunmen Want To Believe, Join Agents Scully And Mulder In Fox Reboot!

As the first clips and teasers of the "X-Files" reboot 2015 come out to the public, things get more and more exciting for fans of the long-running Fox show that ended in 2002 - and things just got a nudge more interesting after Fox announced the return of The Lone Gunman!

It seems like every week there's bigger news about the highly anticipated "X-Files" reboot 2015, which will see the return of Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny in the roles that made them famous; now, it's been confirmed that three other beloved characters from the show, Richard "Ringo" Langly, Melvin Frohike and John Fitzgerald Byers, will be making a comeback for the sequel.

According to CNET, the latest "X-Files" reboot 2015 revelation came from Dean Haglund, the actor who played Langly in the cult series, who took to Twitter to confirm he and his fellow Lone Gunmen would be returning for the new project.

Although on Twitter he just confirmed the "X-Files" reboot 2015 news with a "yep, it's true," Haglund recently spoke to a large crowd in Sydney, Australia, to share the scoop on how he'd be joining FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in their quest to locate alien life on the planet.

"Today they contacted us," Haglund told attendees of a fan event in Sydney last weekend when asked about The Lone Gunmen, speaking about the producers behind the "X-Files" reboot 2015, Digital Trends reports. "We're shooting July 28. The Gunmen are in the final six!"

According to Express, after being introduced in the early days of the show, The Lone Gunmen (played by Haglund, Bruce Harwood and Melvin Frohike) became fan favorites to the point of getting their own spin-off at some point, where they looked behind numerous other conspiracy theories.

This is part of the wide expectancy campaign created by Fox around the "X-Files" reboot 2015, set for a January premiere - and it seems to be working like a charm!
