'Doctor Strange' may soon have a 'Mean Girl' in its all-star cast!
The female lead role in the upcoming Marvel film has previously been rumored to be offered to Rachel McAdams. Although the actress has initially kept mum about the speculations, she recently spoke to Los Angeles Times and confirmed that she did get an offer.
"It's still super-early days, and I don't know where that's gonna go, if it's gonna go anywhere at all," McAdams said about the 'Doctor Strange' proposal.
Although Rachel McAdams did seem uncertain whether she will accept the offer, fans have already started speculating on which Marvel character she will be playing.

The female lead is expected to be a love interest, so speculations that Rachel McAdams would play Clea in 'Doctor Strange.' The sorceress was first introduced in 'Strange Tales #126' and has gone on to become Stephen Strange's disciple and lover.

Although she appears human, Clea is the niece of the evil Dormammu and the ruler of the Dark Dimension. The character's introduction in the movie could open the opportunity to feature the Dark Dimension.
There is also a possibility that Rachel McAdams would play an actual human being. The actress might appear in 'Doctor Strange' as the author Morgana Blessing, who is also a love interest to Stephen Strange. Morgana was with the doctor before his disappearance and later wrote his biography.

Her appearance could mean that Doctor Strange's brother Baron Blood would be in the film, since Victor Strange eventually becomes Morgana's vampire lover.
'Doctor Strange' will star Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role, Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordon. The film will be directed by Scott Derrickson while the screenplay will be written by Jon Spaihts.
'Doctor Strange' is scheduled for release on November 4, 2016.
