Maggie Poukkula unveiled the rare images of Nirvana less than a month before Brett Morgen's Kurt Cobain documentary Montage Of Heck which is slated to return to theaters on August 7.

Maggie said, "It's all been really positive," Poukkula also said, "There have only been a couple of people who say (the photos) aren't real -- but they need to get their eyes checked or something."

The father of Maggie Poukkula, Tony Poukkula, was a member of Seattle band Laytem. Tony Poukkula grew up with Nirvana's frontman Kurt Cobain, and Tony Poukkula hosted Nirvana's very first gig.

Reportedly, Tony Poukkula joined Nirvana on guitar for two Led Zeppelin covers during the gig. The Nirvana at that point, was without Dave Grohl, and the band consisted Kurt Cobain, bassist Krist Novoselic and drummer Aaron Burckhard.

It was on July 15 when Maggie Poukkula tweeted the photos of Nirvana, and she stated, "Pictures of my dad and Kurt Cobain playing together back in the day."

Maggie Poukkula said, "I had no idea that those were during Nirvana's first concert," Maggie Poukkula also said, "My dad showed me them a while back, but he never mentioned that's what was going on in the photos. I found out because of all the articles. I didn't realize it was such a historical thing. I thought they were just cool pictures of my dad and Kurt jamming together."
