'X-Men: Apocalypse': [SEE] Storm, Nightcrawler, Jean Grey And Cyclops In 'New Movie Stills [PHOTOS]

It seems like the whole world is still waiting for Fox to release the 'X-Men: Apocalypse' trailer, which was unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con. According to fans who attended SDCC, the trailer was amazing and it offered several clues to the film's storyline.

It might be a long wait before the 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Comic-Con trailer will be released publicly. However, Fox has decided to make the wait a lot easier by releasing eight high definition images taken from the film.

The HD movie stills show Storm (Alexandra Shipp) in her leather suit and white Mohawk. It also offers a closer look at the intricate markings on Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee). Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) and Jubilee (Lana Condor) are introduced wearing typical 80's gear.

The pictures also include a shot of Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) and Quicksilver (Evan Peters) working together as well as Magneto (Michael Fassbender) looking threatened. Mystique and Beast (Nicholas Hoult) can be seen without their mutant look as they assist Professor X (James McAvoy).

One notable omission in the 'X-Men: Apocalypse' HD images is the movie's namesake. En Sabah Nur, who is played by Oscar Isaac, is said to be the first mutant and manipulates four mutants to become his Horsemen.

Isaac has previously spoken about his character's unusual outlook on the world and that he is actually doing some good for his recruited mutants.

"On an individual level he's able to reveal the true power of his Horsemen and what's true to them," Isaac told IGN. "And I think to reveal the weakness - how weak we've become. Because this is an ancient entity! So to come to - I think 1983 - and say, 'How did the world become so weak? How did we allow ourselves to become too weak and to enslave ourselves.' I think that's where he's coming from."

'X-Men: Apocalypse' will hit theaters on May 27, 2016.
