Simon Cowell Leona Lewis Is Welcome To Come Back To Syco Record Label

Simon Cowell admits he would still welcome Leona Lewis back to his company, regardless of her previous revelation about her issue with Syco Record Label.

Last year, the 'Bleeding Love' hit maker admitted that she was depressed after leaving Simon's company, Syco Record Label. Following she revealed to her fans through an open letter that she's leaving the company after seven years of recording with them.

Leona wrote, "I was asked to make a record that would not have been true to myself. As an artist in this climate, I was thankful to even get the chance to make another record."

"But I cannot make music that does not speak to my soul and, as scary as it seemed, I could no longer compromise myself, and so I decided to leave."

The singer later on insisted that there was "no bad blood" between her and the music mogul after signing with Island Records and Def Jam on June 2015.

Now, Cowell has a great response to her estranged singer, he admitted that he has a "soft spot" for Lewis and would be happy to take Lewis back anytime she wants to.

Simon told The Sun Newspaper, "I have a real soft spot for Leona for so many reasons. I'd say to her, and I genuinely mean this, that the door will always be left open... Any time she ever thought 'I want to come back to Syco' I'd welcome her with open arms... When you've got a talent as good as this and a voice as good as that, with the right song you can always have a hit."

"She was being wound up. That just wasn't her. And I think she now understands that once you say something, it kind of creates your own momentum, but probably not in the right way," Cowell added, addressing about the rumored dispute.
