The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards gave multiple nominations for artists Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Beyoncé. MTV Video Music Awards will be hosted by Miley Cyrus, and will be air on Aug. 30.
Singer Taylor Swift received the most nominations in the 2015 Video Music Awards, among other categories are video of the year, best female video, best pop video, and best collaboration. Beyoncé also received sorts of nominations which includes video of the year, best female video, and best pop video. Singer Ed Sheeran is getting nods as he did well as he is nominated for video of the year, best male video, and best pop video.
A #TBT Instagram video made by the 25-year-old singer Taylor Swift, where the singer had her fight training for the "Bad Blood" music video in appreciation of her fans for her VMA nominations. Taylor Swift posted, "Throwback to my first day of fight training for the Bad Blood music video. Thank you so much for the 9 nominations. You can vote for Video of the Year NOW!!!"
Considering the category of video of the year is the biggest award at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, other nominees are Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars for "Uptown Funk" and Kendrick Lamar for "Alright." Taylor Swift earned her nod for "Bad Blood," which includes work by Mr. Lamar, while Beyoncé was nominated for "7/11" and Mr. Sheeran for "Thinking Out Loud."
VMA 2015 nominees for best hip-hop video are Ms. Minaj for "Anaconda," Fetty Wap for "Trap Queen," Lamar for "Alright," Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth for "See You Again," and Big Sean and E-40 for "I Don't (expletive) With You."
And a heads up for the best rock video nominees of 2015 MTV Video Music Awards are Hozier for "Take Me To Church," Fall Out Boy for "Uma Thurman," Florence + The Machine for "Ship To Wreck," Walk the Moon for "Shut Up and Dance," and the Arctic Monkeys for "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?"
