A 19 year old man stabbed his father to death after being abused by his own dad for many years.
Hassan Razzaq was being taken by cops after being charged with murder of his father, Mohammad Razzaq, the Daily News reports.
The incident took place in E. Third St. apartment near Ditmas Ave. in Kensington around 10 pm on Saturday.
A neighbor who lives across, just identified himself as Robert, called 911 after he heard some screaming and someone came out from the building. He then realized that Hassan was the one running out of the building holding a knife.
He said, "First I heard the mother screaming. Then I saw the young fellow come out."
As Robert recalled, "He came running out. I said, 'What's the matter?' He said, 'Bobby, please don't get involved. Stay out of it.' I said, 'What did you do?' And then he just took off."
Another neighbor, Gissette Vazquez also saw Hassan as he ran from the house, she said, "I heard a lady start screaming. The older boy said, 'He's bleeding, he's bleeding, hurry, hurry.'"
The victim has been stabbed in the neck, reports says.
According to Robert the stabbing might have pushed the suspect after being abused by the father for how many years. He claims that Hassan is a good kid, but there is always abuses inside the house that might have pushed the kid to kill his father.
He said, "The father was very abusive. He was beating that kid all day. I feel terrible for that boy. He was pushed. He was definitely pushed."
During the investigation Hassan told the authorities that he and his sister got tired of the physical abuse from their father.
Despite the "abuse" described by the neighbor Hassan is charged with second degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
